Southend-On-Sea, Essex – June 23, 2016 – Manish Patel, owner of Dillon’s Convenience Store in Southend has always valued his customers and frequently looks for ways to give something back to the community. This is what has made his store such a success. In 2015, he launched his local loyalty scheme with support from The Retail Data Partnership (TRDP). Today, the loyalty scheme is a hit amongst shoppers and is growing every day with over 29,000 points earned so far.
To get shoppers even more excited in loyalty, Manish recently ran a prize draw with the lucky winner receiving their most valuable basket back in cash. This was presented by TRDP Managing Director Stephen Burnett. The winner, Tracey Payne was thrilled to receive £30.
I’ll be in more often as there’s a chance I could be winning it all back – Tracey Payne
Manish has continued high hopes for his store and plans on running more competitions in the months ahead as well as offering loyalty member exclusive promotions on popular lines. He’s even expanding the shop and thinking about how his EPoS system reports and loyalty scheme can work together to give his slower lines a welcome boost. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
The world of retail is changing every day, with the introduction of new technologies and intuitive loyalty programmes to reward customer behaviour. To date, many of these innovations have been out of reach for independent retailers – until now with the launch of Local Loyalty from The Retail Data Partnership.
Local Loyalty is a card and website based loyalty system that integrates with the ShopMate EpoS system, enabling your shop to reward your customers for their loyalty and connect with them, delivering timely and relevant offers via web-based messaging and text messages.
