Last week we showcased our data and insight to retailers and sector suppliers at the National Convenience Show in Birmingham. We had three fantastic days, and met some wonderful people supporting local communities around the UK. We encountered countless new products, great ideas and enjoyed many informative discussions. Most surprising, however, was the number of suppliers offering not-so-long-ago-illegal cannabidiol (CBD) products! You could choose from oil sprays, chocolate brownies, mints, supplement capsules, face and body creams and, of course, vaping liquids!

Do such predictions have any validity? We looked at basket data from our 2,954 retail outlets. We spotted some 76 CBD products sold since November 2018! The best-seller at the time of the review was 10ml bottle CBD Cannabis Oil approx 2.5% / 250mg, RSP £22.34 by CBD One Ltd, a company based in Preston.
