Fan-tache-tic fundraiser for Movember!

The team at The Retail Data Partnership has taken on the Movember challenge where participants each attempt to grow an impressive, bushy, moustache throughout the month of November to raise awareness and funds for the Movember Foundation who campaign for men’s health. The charity is making a difference in mental health & suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer, aiming to reduce premature deaths in men by 25% by 2030.

The challenge has been led by Managing Director Stephen Burnett who is clearly sporting a moustache of the highest quality. Stephen also cooked a meal for the team to help raise funds.

Lip Lip Hurray

The grand prize of a 2020 Beano Annual was awarded to Steve Pilvousek, our accountant,  for his impressive ‘tache but the book has been put up for auction because Steve says he “prefers Whizzer and Chips!” Through sponsorship and donations, the team have raised a total of £335.00.  Stephen said “It is important to me to support this charity and to help raise awareness. These health problems that affect men are often not discussed. Bringing the conversation out in the open will encourage men, young and old, to discuss their symptoms and seek treatment earlier, which will save lives.”
